Who to contact

The People Code, trading as Biggleswade Leaflet Delivery, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. The People Code is a partnership of John Boggis and Lorna McAtear. Our business address is 3B Rosemary House, Lanwades Business Park, Kennett, Kentford, Newmarket, CB8 7PN. Email hello@biggleswadeleaflets.co.uk or call 01767 631 896 with privacy questions.

Enquiries and quotes

We collect the name, business name, email address, phone number and campaign details you enter in our forms. We use these to respond, discuss your requirements, prepare a quote and manage any service you book. Required fields help us handle your request; if you prefer, you can telephone us instead.

We rely on taking steps towards a contract at your request where you are the prospective customer, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries where you contact us for an organisation. Keeping the website secure and preventing spam is also a legitimate interest. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

How your information reaches us

Our website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. Form details pass through Resend to our business email inbox, provided through Google Workspace, and are recorded in HubSpot so John or Lorna can manage and follow up your enquiry. These providers process information to run their services. Website requests can include technical information such as an IP address; our form uses it temporarily to limit repeated submissions.

Our providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. Information about their locations and contractual data safeguards is available from OpenAI, Cloudflare, Resend, HubSpot and Google Workspace. Contact us if you need further information about the arrangements applying to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to respond and handle relevant follow-up. For booked work, retention also depends on completing the service, maintaining business records and dealing with any complaint or legal obligation. You can ask us about information we hold or request its deletion.

QR links and the map

Our leaflet QR link records the campaign and calendar date of visits to help us measure interest. Those campaign records contain no visitor identifier and are kept for up to 365 days. Repeat visits may be counted. Infrastructure providers process technical request data separately.

The embedded map is supplied by OpenStreetMap. Loading it sends a request to that provider; see its privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal information.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Our enquiry process may prepare a draft quote for John or Lorna to review, but it does not automatically make a booking, take payment or send a price to you without human approval.
